European digital Passenger Locator Form to be used for entry into Slovenia per plane or ship from 16.08.2021
A web application called digital Passenger Locator Form (dPLF) with an electronic tracking form has been developed at the European Union level. The application is also available in Slovene language. The Passenger Locator Form is used to make tracking of passengers easier and faster in case they were exposed to an infected or ill person with the infectious disease COVID-19 while traveling.
The purpose of the form is to assist the epidemiological service of the National Institute of Public Health of Slovenia at finding and quickly establishing contact with a sick or infected passenger and his contacts in order to prevent further spread of the disease, and the exchange of data through the EU early warning system Infectious Disease Detection and Detection (EWRS).
All passengers who will enter Slovenia by plane or ship from 16th August 2021 onwards, will have to fill in an electronic passenger locator form (dPLF form) prior to entering the country. Every individual will have to fill in a separate dPLF, even if traveling with family or as part of a group.
Transit passengers who do not leave the transit area of the airport, will not need to complete the dPLF (unless the passenger will leave the airport for any reason). The crew of the aircraft or ship will not be required to fill in the dPLF.
