Slovenian companies at UN International Procurement Seminar in Copenhagen

For the first time, Slovenian companies are participating at a UN International Procurement Seminar, taking place in Copenhagen June 12th – June 13th. The aim of the seminar is to familiarise companies with the UN procurement processes.

The Slovenian companies participating span a wide array of sectors and include Alvidis, Boson, MESI, Sentra and Fast Lane (Flane). Ambassador to the Nordic Countries, Edvin Skrt, remarked at the opening of the seminar: "Cooperation with the UN system is one way to find new markets and new opportunities for cooperation that will allow the dispersion of Slovenian exports. We would like to see increased participation of Slovenian business entities in UN tenders and I am certain that today's event will contribute to Slovenian companies' understanding of the opportunities for doing business with the UN. We firmly believe that Slovenian companies can offer excellent products and services at competitive prices."

The event takes place in the UN City in Copenhagen and is co-hosted by Slovenia, UK, Netherlands and Ireland, who also have companies participating in the seminar.
