Prime Minister Šarec visited Denmark
Copenhagen, 13 November, 2018 - Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Marjan Šarec, visited Denmark today following the invitation of Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen cooperation between Slovenia and Denmark, both in the field of economy and in key European and global challenges. The interlocutors exchanged views on topical issues in the European Union, the UK's withdrawal from the Union, migration challenges, negotiations on the future Multiannual Financial Framework of the EU, the future of the EU's internal market and about the situation in the Western Balkans.
On the margin of the working bilateral visit, the Prime Minister also attended the informal meeting of the Heads of Government of the EU Member States that are part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE).
